So I got a chance to check out that Yeezy 3 on tidal, and that Money & Violence season 2 premier ??,(that Ima go in on in another post) I wasn’t hip that the fashion show/album listen session was  Yeezy 3 was at MSG and had 20,000 people in attendance. It was live streamed Thursday but I caught the replay later that night. The floor was filled with what look likes to be upwards to 1500 or more models all dressed in the earth tones of Kanyes new collection. Nude leotards and shades of brown into khaki and dark green with accent pieces of burgundy/maroon, everybody was dressed head to toe in the high end adidas spin off. Ye came out the tunnel w Lamar Odom flanking him. A well received surprise he dapped up Lam Lam, walked up to the makeshift DJ booth setup w auxillary cords and lap tops and dropped the first song on the album after a short tease. Maybe it was tech difficulty. The crowd erupted. As the first track started to play q big ass sheet was pulled off from over top of all the models. A good majority of them were up on 2 platforms. Everyone struck still poses real life like like they were frozen in their previous seconds. The models ranged from Lil Yachty who rocked the red braids with the red beads, to Naomi Cambell at one point. Ian Connor and Young Thugga Thugga. The models were so into the ambience that it highlighted the nuance of the aesthetic for the collection. Like, real shit, some of the models looked like straight run aways and hostages. Not just looked like it. But I’m convinced they had to be legit skid row hipsters.  Aspects of the collection have an urban exaggeration like long sleeves and low shit that if you don’t dress up, will make you look like a straight Mad Max pirate or some shit. It’s so weird it’s dope. Especially if you’re into pop cult culture. Ye said that this is a gospel album. He does have Kirk Franklin on a track. Talking in that southern baptist cadence, and choirs humming hyms and singing unlike the ye of old he does mention the father in a Christian context in “Father Stretch my Hands” the exclusive space around Ye was star studded. Wale, 2 Chains, Cudi, Pusha T, A$VP Rocky, and Travi$ $cott to name a few. Ye shouts out Ana Wintour and Adidas for believing in his vision. And shouts out his family and in laws for supporting his ideas In The fashion world. At one point in the show Mr. West even shows a video game concept he’s been working on on the jumbo tron, about his mother going through heavens gates. It was touching to say the least.
